Glenda Kay Mace, age 70, passed from this life at Medical Center Hospital on Thursday, October 17, 2019. She was born on January 28, 1949 in Midland, TX to the late Clifford and Beatrice (Pruett) Trammell. She married Michael Mace in Odessa, TX on March 24, 1990 and they had celebrated 30 years together.
Those left to cherish her love and memory are her husband: Michael Mace of Odessa; daughter: Elishama Mace of Odessa; brother: Joe Trammell and wife Sherrie of Odessa; niece: Corrina Vanderburg; and nephew: Jolyn Trammell;
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother: Eddie Trammell.

|Jacquelyn ReNee Moore Zimmerman|
Jacquelyn ReNee Moore Zimmerman passed away at her home after a brief illness on October 17, 2019 in Odessa, Texas. She was born on September 24, 1963 in Lubbock, Texas, the only child of Charles and Jacquelyn (Jackie) Moore.
In 1969, her mother married Bob Dennis, and in the spring of 1970 he moved them to Colorado City, Texas. Throughout her life, ReNee worked many jobs but she found her passion as an OTR Truck Driver which is also how she met the love of her life John Zimmerman. They were married on January 30, 2006 in Ft Worth, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jacquelyn (Jackie) Dennis.
ReNee is survived by her husband, John Zimmerman, sons, Brent Moore (Criselda) and Jeff Fine (Stacia), Bonus kids, Mark Zimmerman (Juana), Jessica Molloy (James), John Zimmerman, Jr (Marcela), Sara Teague (Tim), Victoria Kiefer (Daniel), and Dustin Zimmerman (Lacy); grandchildren, Alexis, Alyia, Amara, Andrea, Anthony, Brianna, Christian, Easton, Ewalina, Gabrielle, Kayla, Kaylie, Kynlee, LeAuna, Mark, Mia, Paityn, Regan, Rolando, Samantha, Samuel, Scarlett, Seth, William, and Zoe; great-grandson, Raul; her dads, Bob Dennis (Karen) and Charles Moore (Toni); sisters, Cindy Weakley (Jerry), Ashlye Bartlett (Todd), Tiffany Moore-Rich (Jeremy); brothers, Robert Dennis-Podvalov (Ivan) and Tom Moore (Jamie); her in-laws, Vern and Charlotte (Midge) Zimmerman; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
Services will be held October 24, 2019, at First Baptist Church in Ira, Texas at 1:00 p.m.

Mary Louise Green passed away peacefully in Midland, Texas on October 19th at the age of 81.
Mary was born May 30, 1938 in Waxahachie, Texas and lived a vibrant life, through travel and vacations. Mary retired from Hughes Aircraft in Carlsbad, California and moved to Odessa, Texas in 1989. She worked for the Ector County Independent School District for 10 years. Mary was involved in church and loved gardening; especially taking care of her roses.
Mary also had a special love for children. Mary was a mother, grandmother, special auntie and godmother to so many children. Mary had a kind heart and showed many of those children that love every day. Anyone who met her could see the kind and gentle person she was but she also had a feisty side and wasn’t afraid to speak her mind.
Mary is survived by her Daughters; Sheila Hopkins-Plyler and Ashley Young. Siblings; Claudine Young, Carolyn Travis, Lavern Jackson, and Bonnie Lockett. 4 Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Grandchild: and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Many Friends. Mary was preceded in death by Husband: Jerry Wallace Jr, Stepson (Alfred Wallace), Mother; Juanita McBride, Brother; Willie Smith and Godson; David Martinez.

Juanita Arroyo Arenivas, 90, of Presidio, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019 in Odessa, TX. She was born Friday, March 29, 1929 in Buenos Aires, Chihuahua, Mexico to Paula and Jose Arroyo.
Juanita loved to cook on her wood burning stove and enjoyed baking cookies. She enjoyed planting and canning her own jalapenos and chilies. Juanita was a strong believer in her Heavenly Father.
Those left to cherish her love and memory are her sons: Manuel G. Yanez and wife Juanita of Mexico, Benjamin G. Orona and Juan G. Orona, both of Mexico, Manuel Orona of Pecos, Ramon Orona of Mexico and Andres Orona of Presidio; daughters: Angela G. Orona of Mexico and Conception G. Orona of Odessa; brothers: Ramon Fino of Mexico, Vicente Gonzalez of Odessa and Dimas Gonzalez and wife Socorro of Pecos; sister: Maria Gonzalez of Chihuahua, Mexico; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and special nephew: Ismael Arroyo and wife Nena.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Jose Arenivas; parents: Jose and Paula Arroyo; son: Anastacio G. Orona; and daughter: Socorro Orona.

Isidro Martinez Morales, 73, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019 in Odessa, TX. He was born Wednesday, May 15, 1946 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Manuel and Socorro Morales Martinez. He was raised by his grandparents Maria Magdalena and Santiago Morales Carrasco.
Those left to cherish his love and memory are his sons: Manuel Martinez Herrera, Julian Martinez Calanche and Alberto Martinez Calanche; daughters: Soledad Martinez Herrera, Guadalupe Martinez Herrera, and Elizabeth Barriga; brothers: Jose Angel Martinez Morales, Jesus Manuel Martinez Morales, and Paco Martinez Morales; and sisters: Margarita Martinez Morales, Rosa Marie Martinez Morales, Magdalena Martinez Morales, and Claudia Martinez Morales.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister: Gloria Martinez Morales; and grandparents.
Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Burial will be held at a later date in Ojinaga, Mexico. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

James Edgar Stephens, of Odessa, died October 20, 2019 at Terrace West Nursing Facility in Midland, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents: George and Bertha Stephens; three sisters: Dorothy Miller, Mary Kathryn Poteet, and Nancy Phillips; and a brother: George Stephens.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of more than 50 years: Alice Cabell Stephens; their daughter: Shanna (Jason) Edwards; and two grandchildren, all of Odessa; sister: Jerri Martin of Lakeview; and sister-in-law: Monda Fults of Pattonville, TX.
James was born October 22, 1936 in Quail, TX and baptized into Christ at age 17 in Wellington. He graduated from Quail HS, Clarendon JC, and West Texas State. He worked on a cotton gin and county bridge gang before coming to Odessa in 1962, working as a barber as Deb Childers' shop. He was a long-time owner of James' Barber Shop on Grandview, then went to work for Broadmore Barbershop on Grandview. He was active in 4-H and FFA, serving as assistant superintendent of the Permian Basin Fair Poultry Show, and also raising goats and rabbits.
A lifelong member of the Church of Christ, he attended with the congregations at 6th and Jackson and later West University in Odessa. He lived by his favorite Bible verse, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Matthew 7:12
The family will receive friends at Acres West Funeral Chapel in Odessa on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. Graveside services will be held at Quail Cemetery in Quail, Texas at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 24, 2019, officiated by Terry Phillips.

Sherry Lynn Ellis, 62, of Odessa, passed from this life Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Odessa Regional Medical Center. She was born Sunday, December 23, 1956 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Benny and Marie Ridener.
Sherry married the love of her life Jim over 37 years ago on June 5, 1982. She was a wonderful wife and mother and had a heart the size of Texas. She was a nurse who was loved by all of her family, friends and patients, whom she always remembered by name. Sherry leaves behind a beautiful legacy. She always took good care of Jim and his fire department. She loved to crochet and plant all types of flowers. Sherry loved her 12 dogs who she considered her babies.
Those left to cherish her love and memory are her husband: Jimmy Ellis; sons: Christopher, Keith, and Casey Ellis and his wife Sheena; brother: Bob Ridener and fiancé Karen; grandchildren: Steven Ellis and wife Kelsey, Cian Ellis, Anastasia Escarsega, Alexander Ellis, and Nicolas Ellis; mother in law: Barbara Martin; Eulalio Davis, her patient of over 20 years; and numerous family members and friends.

Mary Juanita Lawhon, age 81, passed away at Medical Center Hospital on Sunday, October 20, 2019. She was born in Oklahoma on Wednesday, April 19, 1938 to the late Bert Austin and Dorthey Lela (Bagwell) Frost. Mary was a nanny and a caretaker.
Even in spite of her illness, Mary's spitfire personality and positivity shone through. She was a bright light in this crazy world whose good soul and wholesome hugs made such a difference to others. Her life motto was "Enjoy the little things." She loved George Strait, coffee, fried potatoes, word search puzzles, and cooking. Her favorite saying was "Woo Woo!" Her grandchildren were her "babies" and they were so precious to her.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.
She is survived by three sons; two daughters; many brothers and sisters; her lifelong friend and caretaker: Lisa Blanchard and husband Chris; three grandchildren: LaShae Reed and her husband Tony, Brandon Blanchard, and Kyle Blanchard; seven great-grandchildren: Bryndee Hart, Roxie Reed, Orion Hart, Christian Blanchard, Aubrey Blanchard, Gaige Blanchard, and Amiyah Blanchard; niece: Jacqueline Frost and fiance Andrew; nephew: Mason; great-nieces: Kahlan and Gabrielle; and many friends who loved her dearly.

A big "Thank You!" to all of Mary's hospice nurses at Medical Center Hospital. Your loving care was such a blessing.
Alfonso Tavarez, 77, passed away Monday, October 21, 2019 in Odessa, TX. She was born Tuesday, August 25, 1942 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico to Manuel and Guadalupe Tavarez.
Those left to cherish his love and memory are his sons: Alfonzo Tavarez, and Arnulfo Tavarez and wife Maria; daughters: Guadalupe Gonzalez and husband Ausencio and Ruth Magali; brother: Francisco Tavarez; sisters: Concepcion, Petra and Bertha Lydia Tavarez; grandchildren: Arnulfo, Jr., Midia Yudit, Indira, Humberto, Briyit, Jeson, Brayan, Joalex, Yoselin, Lesly, Nayely, Emanuel and Citlaly; 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife: Dominga Gabaldon de Tavarez; parents; four brothers; and two sisters.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Acres West Funeral Chapel from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Rosary will be recited 7:00 pm Friday, October 25, 2019 at Santa Teresa de Jesus Parish in Presidio, TX. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Saturday, October 26, 2019 with the interment to follow at Desert Hills Cemetery.

Clinton Delbert Green, Jr. age 65, of Goldsmith, passed away at his home on Monday, October 21, 2019. He was born in Odessa, TX on April 14, 1954 to the late Clinton Green Sr. and Elizabeth (Landes) Green. Clinton was a truck driver.
A comical person, Clinton had a dry sense of humor. He could play the guitar like a professional. Clinton was a good person. Although his immediate family was small, he was well loved and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Clinton Sr. and Liz.
Those left to cherish his memory are his cousins: Joseph and Judy Landes of Eunice, NM, Billy Max and Pam Landes of Springtown, TX, Jamie Landes Wilson of TX, Jennette (Landes) Curtis Boozer and Jack Andrew Landes, both of Eunice, NM; and numerous other cousins and extended family.

Monica Gail Luna, age 65, passed from this life Wednesday, October 9, 2019 in Odessa, TX. She was born Wednesday, March 24, 1954 in El Paso, TX to Mary Genell and Ross Dana Orcutt, Sr.
Monica was a kind hearted person willing to give the shirt of her back and help anyone. She traveled the world and Hawaii was her favorite place. She loved watching cooking shows and playing BINGO.
Those left to cherish her love and memories are her son: Brandon Orcutt; daughter: Allyson Whisenhunt; sister: Gabriel Cleverland; and grandchildren: Daylon, Payne, Alexus, Bateman and Charlee Vivero.
