Ray Lee Bars, age 61, passed from this life Tuesday, April 2, 2019 in Odessa, TX. He was born Wednesday, November 20, 1957 in El Paso, TX to Leroy and Atherine (Sanders) Bars.

Ray Lee went by "Uncle Rico" and was beloved by his family and all the children.  He was quiet, but could be crazy.  He could always be counted on to help out when you needed him.  He enjoyed flowers and walking and was a baseball and Dallas Cowboys fan.

Those left to cherish his love and memories are his wife: Tanya Williams; sons: Ray, Raejon and Ray Ray Bars; daughters: Makayla and Rachelle Bars; brothers: Gary Bars and wife Ellen, Kenneth bars and wife B.J., and Fredrick Bars; sisters: Bettie Deal and Gloria and Delinda Bars; thirteen grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and son: Rodney Bars.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1401 S. Dixie Blvd. Odessa, TX. Interment will follow at the Odessa II section of Ector County Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Michael Shelton. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Aurelio Renteria Morales, age 82, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019 in Odessa, TX. He was born Thursday, November 12, 1936 to Romulo and Gregoria (Morales) Renteria in Barranco Azul, Mexico.

Those left to cherish his love and memories are his wife: Catarina Renteria; sons: Aurelio Renteria Rivera and Luis Alberto Renteria Rivera; daughters: Margarita, Yameli, Mireya and Amalia Ali Renteria Rivera; brothers: Calletano and Romulo Reneteria; sister: Jesusita Reneteria Morales; twenty-four grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and son: Marcos Dionisio Renteria Rivera

Funeral Services will be held at a later date at Jardines de San Jose in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Jubencio Dominguez Morales, age 80, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019 in Odessa, TX. He was born Sunday, November 20, 1938 in Ejido Fabela, Chihuahua to Guadalupe Dominguez Castillo and Mauro Morales Aguilar.

Those left to cherish his love and memories are his wife of 46 years: Maria Elena Morales; sons: Jubencio Morales, Jr. and Maclovio Morales; daughter: Yeselena Morales; brother: Fermin Morales; sisters: Gloria, Hortencia and Olivia Morales; and five grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A Rosary will be recited 7:00 pm Monday, April 8, 2019 at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Barbara Lois Welch, age 77, passed from this life Saturday, April 6, 2019 in Odessa, TX. She was born Saturday, November 1, 1941 in Newport, RI to Horace Carl and Geneva Lois Post.

She was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Those left to cherish her love and memories are her son: Johannes Winters; brother: Don Post; sister: Marilyn Hill; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, friends and church members.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers: Edward and William Post.

A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held 9:30 am Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Ft. Stockton, TX. Inurnment will be 2:00 PM Friday, April 26, 2019 at Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Emma Lea Coldiron, age 69, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019 in Odessa, TX. She was born Friday, August 5, 1949 in Odessa, TX to Millard Madison and Rosa Lea Smallwood.

Emma was a sweet, kind hearted person who loved her grandchildren dearly. She enjoyed football and cheering on the Dallas Cowboy and Texas Longhorns. She was always helping and would always do so with such love.

Those left to cherish her love and memories are her son: Homer Coldiron and wife Martha; brother: David Smallwood and wife Tina; sisters: Joyce Mangan, Jean Mangan, Sammy Libby and husband Rod, Mildred Henry, Margie Duncan and husband Charles, and Rose Ann Hurst; grandchildren: Vaughn, Tyler and Nikole Baily, and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband: Homer Coldiron.

Josefina Colomo Hernandez, 94, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019 in Odessa, TX. She was born Wednesday, July 20, 1924 to Jose and Francisca Spencer Colomo in Municipo Benavidez, MX.

Those left to cherish her love and memories are her sons: Reymundo, Mario and Luis Hernandez; daughters: Margarita Ruiz, Irene Baeza, MaEster Acosta, Amalia Benavidez, and Manuel Robles; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Reymundo Hernandez; son: Jose Hernandez; and siblings.

Edgar Acedo, age 28, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019 in Stanton, TX. He was born Friday, April 5, 1991 in Las Vegas, NV to Leobardo and Rosa Leyva Acedo.

Those left to cherish his love and memories are his wife: Litzy Lujan; sons: EdgarXavier Acedo, Jr. and Elias Enrique Acedo; daughter: Odalis Acedo; parents:  Leobardo and Rosa Acedo; brothers: Leo Acedo and Juan Leyva; and sisters: Melissa Acedo, Brisa Acedo, and Maria Leyva.

Visitation begins at 5:00 pm Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the family home at 419 West 48th Street, Odessa, TX. Funeral services will be 10:30 am, Monday, April 15, 2019 at Iglesia Evangelica Cristiana (16th and Neptune). Graveside services will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 1:00 pm.

Sara Elisabeth Lasiter, age 50, of Odessa, TX passed from this life in Odessa at Medical Center Hospital on Wednesday, April 10, 2019.  She was born in Artesia, NM on February 16, 1969 to Calvin Lasiter and Norma Jean Kelly.  She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Sara enjoyed making pottery and playing pool. She collected statues and masquerade masks.

Those left to cherish her love and memory are her mother:  Norma Jean Kelly of Odessa; sons:  Kristian Lasiter and Kasey Stevens and wife Amber, all of Odessa; daughter:  Paij Forsyth of Alabama; brothers:  Steven Lasiter of Odessa, Scott Lasiter of Roswell, NM, and Shane Lasiter of Hobbs, NM; sister:  Whitney Bowers and husband Mark of Odessa; and three beloved grandchildren:  MacKenzie, Nala, and Ryker.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Loretta Ann Hernandez, age 50, of Monahans, passed away at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa on Friday, April 12, 2019.  She was born April 1, 1969 in Indio, CA to Juan Hernandez Sanchez, Sr. and Guadalupe (Ramirez) Sanchez. 

Loretta loved her phone and music and was always laughing and joking around.  She was creative and crafty and loved to cook and decorate. She loved to visit with her friends and spend time with family - especially her grandchildren.  A fighter, she fought her illness for many years.

Those left to cherish her love and memory are husband:  Martin Ramirez of Monahans; her mother:  Guadalupe Sanchez of Monahans; daughter:  Johanna Hernandez and husband Jol Brown of West Virginia; son:  Armando Hernandez Jr. of Monahans; daughter-in-law:  Rosie Rivera; brothers:  Oscar Sanchez and wife Jennifer and Juan Sanchez Jr. and wife Marisa, all of Monahans; sister:  Sonia Rios and husband Jose of Monahans; and 8 beloved grandchildren:  Jennifer, Amanda, Andrea, Annalise, Armando, Olivia, Arianna, and Martin.

She is preceded in death by her father: Juan Hernandez Sanchez, Sr. and her son:  Jose Angel Hernandez.

Visitation will be in Odessa at Acres West 24 Hour Chapel beginning Tuesday, April 16, 2019.  Rosary will be Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 7:00 pm at Acres West.  Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Acres West 24 Hour Chapel with burial to follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery in Monahans, TX.

Angela Lee Fernandez, age 34, passed form this life Saturday, April 13, 2019 in Odessa, TX. She was born Tuesday, August 7, 1984 to Christopher and Maria I. Ibarra in Odessa, TX.

Those left to cherish her love and memories are her husband:  Jerrod Lynn Cook; sons: Hector Gutierrez, Jr. and Manuel Angel Gutierrez; daughters: Bridget Bianca Gutierrez, Yvette Marie Gutierrez, and Sara Lee Angelica Gutierrez; parents; grandparents: Christopher, Martha and Amador; brothers: Isaac Ibarra and Christopher Ibarra; sister: Abigail Ibarra; and one grandson on the way: Lee Anthony. 

She is preceded in death by her grandmother: Maria V. Flores.

A Rosary will be recited 7:00 pm Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 2:00 pm Monday, April 22, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Alcario Gutierrez Nabarrete, age 57, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019 in Odessa, TX. He was born Friday, May 19, 1961 in Odessa, TX to Sabas and Maria Gutierrez Nabarrete.

Those left to cherish his love and memories are his sons: Alcario Nabarrete, Jr. and Samuel Nabarrete; daughters: Janie Annette Lara and Savannah Nabarrete; sisters: Eloisa Nabarrete, Lowana Nabarrete and Sandra Gonzales; and grandchildren: Anthony Valerio, Fernando Santiago III, Isabella Lara, Elliott Nabarrete and Miah Santiago.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers: William and Sabas Nabarrete, Jr.
