Deloris Jo Webb

Deloris Jo Webb, age 77, passed from this life Sunday, October 21, 2018 in Odessa, TX. She was born Friday, April 11, 1941 to the late James Roy Tumlin and Susie Marie Roberts in Weatherford, TX.

Deloris was a sweet, kind hearted person who loved to dance. She enjoyed bowling, being around her family, and loved her Christian family.

Those left to cherish her love and memories are her daughter: LaDonna Conklin and husband Danny; brother: Kenneth Tumlin and wife Brenda; sister: Mary Sue Smart and husband Glenn; grandchildren: Dustin Conklin and wife Tessa, and Dee Ann Baker and husband Rusty; great-grandchildren: Brooklyn Baker, Kambreigh Baker, Kaiden Conklin, Zaylynn Baker, Kayson Conklin, Boston Baker, Kobe Conklin and Kolton Conklin; and nephews: Matthew Tumlin, Paul Tumlin, Cody Tumlin and Michael Smart.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother: Gary Tumlin.

Viewing will be from 6:00 pm to 7:00 PM Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Acres West Funeral Chapel. A Memorial Service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Amelia Carrillo de Mora
Amelia Carrillo de Mora

Amelia Carrillo de Mora age 79, of Odessa TX, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018. She was born Saturday, February 11, 1939 to the late Isidro Carrillo and Maria de Jesus Anchondo in Chihuahua Mexico.

Those left to cherish her love and memories are her sons: Jose Maria Mora, Silvestre Mora, Isidoro Mora, Alonso Mora, and Francisco Mora; daughters: Maria de Jesus Carrasco, Esperanza Mora, and Bibiana Mora; thirty-six grandchildren; sixty-two great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband: Jose Maria Mora.

Funeral services will be at a later date in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico with interment to be at Jardines de San Jose.

Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Juannell "Sam" Deutsch

Juannell Deutsch, age 79, passed from this life Monday, October 22, 2018 in Odessa, TX. She was born November 24, 1938 in Garden City, TX to the late A.J. Overton and Oletha Hogan.

Those left to cherish her love and memories are her sons: Jack Edwards and wife Susie, Steve Edwards, and Darrell Edwards and wife Teresa; daughters: Sherry Graham, Dana Deutsch, Dalene Rasco and husband Royce, Susan Gulley, Fay Washburn and husband Terrall, and GayNell Gagner and husband Phil; sisters: Deanna Booth and husband A.D., and Wynona Bloxham and husband Lou; twenty-seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and best friends: Walter Yancy and John Herriage

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband: Terry Otto Deutsch.

Visitation will begin 10:00 am Friday, October 26, 2018 at Acres West Funeral Chapel, with family to receive friends from 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm. A Memorial Service will take place 11:00 am Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Bible Baptist Church in Odessa, TX. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Virgil McKee 2018
Virgil Wayne McKee

Virgil Wayne McKee, age 55, passed from this life Monday, October 22, 2018 at his home in McCamey, TX. He was born Sunday, July 14, 1963 in Midland, TX to Robert "Bob" McKee and Laura Lee (Stephens) Wood. Virgil married Danielle Rae Hopper in Abilene on September 27, 2002.  He was self employed.

Those left to cherish his love and memories are his wife: Danielle Rae McKee of McCamey; mother:  Laura Lee Wood of McCamey; one biological son: two step-sons:  Coltin Neumann of Ft. Worth and Michael Brian Hosch of Rankin; brother:  Wesley McKee of Cisco; grandson:  Mason James Neumann; and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father:  Bob McKee; step-father:  Tommy Gene Wood; his uncle:  Mitch McKee; and cousin:  Kenny McKee.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Weldon William Needham Jr., age 58, passed from this life Wednesday, October 24, 2018 in Odessa, TX. He was born Sunday, October 9, 1960 in Odessa, TX to the late Weldon William Needham Sr. and June Buck Clark.

Those left to cherish his love and memories are his son: “Bud” Weldon W. Needham III and wife Alli Mills of Odessa; daughter: Billie Needham and husband Matt Taylor of Odessa; brothers: David Gibbs of Gorman, Allen Johnson of Waco; sisters: Janey Tippett of Odessa, Bobbie Diane Johnson of Waco,  Jimmie Christensen of  Ridgefield, Washington, D’Aun Harris of Azle, and Jodi Middleton of Commanche; and granddaughter: Tayler Foust of Odessa.

Celebration of life will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Acres West Funeral Chapel, officiated by Mike Bartlett. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel and Crematory.

Jo Beth Hamby

Jo Beth Hamby, age 70, of Odessa, passed from this life at Continue Care Hospital at MCH on Saturday, October 27, 2018.  She was born in Odessa on Wednesday, January 28, 1948 to the late Henry and Yvonne (Stoneking) Peevy.  She worked as an executive secretary in inventory control in the oilfield. 

Survivors include her husband:  David Hamby of Odessa and her brother:  Gary Peevy of Little Flock, AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Georgeann.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Delton D Woods 2018
Delton David Woods

Delton David Woods, age 78 passed away Monday, October 29, 2018 in Odessa TX. He was born Thursday, July 11, 1940 in Novice, Coleman County, TX to Sarah Fulfer Woods and Johnny Woods.  A member of Agape Dream Center, Delton served as a greeter and van driver.  He had worked for Salmon's, Trigas and several other local oilfield companies.

Delton enjoyed fishing and camping and loved family gatherings.  Holidays like Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas were important family times for him.  He was especially fond of birthdays.

Those left to cherish his love and memories are his wife: Gloria Woods; sisters:  Teena Medlock and Sandi Scheschewally; children:  Johnny Daniel Woods and wife Rhonda, Shirley Ellen Woods; grandchildren:  Kayla Ann, Kristi Lynn and husband Michael, David Lance, Shawanda Gayle and husband Chad, Rebecca Lynn and husband Jacob, Robert Sawyer and wife Michelle, Raymond Chase, Gloria Mychelle, Wesley Tye, Alexander Jonathan, and Cayleigh Maria; great-grandchildren:  Devyn, Xach, Jaedyn, Alexis, Trinity, Skylar, Shane, Brandon, Konner, Colton, Adalynn, Avery, Tristan and Ava; and five great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his son:  Wesley Dale, several brothers and sisters: Oscar, Louise, Mary, Marie, Evelyn, Jodie, and Jim, and one granddaughter:  Lawanda Ann.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  Funeral services will be at Agape Dream Center on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 10:00 am, officiated by Pastor Jimmy Dennis.  Interment follows at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Deborah Lee Riffe, age 64, passed from this life Monday, October 29, 2018 in Odessa, TX. She was born Wednesday, January 27, 1954 to the late Vernon Riffe and Ruby Grant in Dayton, Ohio.

Those left to cherish her love and memories are her son: Vernon Haze and wife Melissa; daughter: Juanita McConkey and husband Brent; sisters: Leita Faulkner and Beth Riffe; four nieces; four nephews; ten great-nieces and four great-nephews, who she treated as if they were her own.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother: Earl Riffe; and sister: Tina Lakey.

Arrangements are by Acres West Funeral Chapel.

William K Grimes
William Knox Grimes

William Knox Grimes, age 69, passed away at his residence Monday, October 29, 2018 in Midland, TX. He was born Thursday, June 16, 1949 to the late William and Naoma (Jordan) Grimes in Clovis, New Mexico. He was a US Air Force Veteran and worked as a safety tech in the oilfield.

Those left to cherish his love and memories are his wife: Jo Grimes of Midland; daughter: Angela Hanson and husband Edward of Midland; brothers: Tommy Grimes and Lou Mealer, both of Odessa; sisters: Wendy Mitchell of Odessa and Ann Nation of Clovis, NM; grandchildren: Logan and Landon; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service with military honors will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018 in Greenwood, TX at 2102 S. County Road 1128 at 1:00 pm. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

James Knight 2018
James Knight

At the age of 78, James Knight went to be with the Lord on October 30, 2018. James was born on March 3, 1940 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Earl Knight and Edna Munn.

James is survived by his wife Bonnie Knight of Odessa, his children James B Knight and his wife Beth of San Antonio, Texas, and Tina Sadberry and her husband John of Odessa.  James had four grandchildren: Tiffany Brumley, Michelle Timmons, James Aaron Spence, and Jonathan Knight.  He had six great granddaughters:  Paige Johnson, Jade Timmons, Ryleigh Timmons, Cassie Timmons, Jordyn Timmons, and Madison Spence.  He had one brother Earl Knight as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He preceded in death by his parents Earl Knight and Edna Munn, and his daughter Tracey Knight.

James enjoyed many things, he loved fishing, coaching baseball, and he was an avid bowler, but his favorite thing was spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren telling tall tales with his best friend John Carruth.

Visitation will be on Sunday November 4, 2018 from 2:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M with the family present to receive visitors from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Memorial services with military honors will be on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Acres West Funeral Chapel in Odessa at 10:00 A.M, officiated by Pastor Mike Bartlett.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wounded Warrior Project in James's honor are appreciated.
