Jason Kendel Thomason, age 44, of Odessa passed away at Medical Center Hospital on September 17, 2018.  He was born in Odessa on Thursday, September 20, 1973 to Fred Jason Thomason and Judy Ann Gallaway.  He was a welder.

He is preceded in death by his mother Judy Gallaway and his step-father Eugene Gallaway.

Those left to cherish his love and memory are his father Fred Thomason; brother Kevin Thomason; sister Mary Jane Hutchins and husband Jaime; one nephew Jack; son Jarred; and two grandchildren.

Memorial services will be privately held.  Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Jaime Marquez Jr., age 19, passed from this life Monday, September 17, 2018 in Odessa, TX. He was born Saturday, August 14, 1999 to Jaime Marquez Sr. and Vanessa Dominguez in Odessa, TX.

Jaime loved to play Fortnite and he liked the virtual reality. He liked making music and always played it loud. He enjoyed watching Youtube videos while eating his hot Cheetos that he loved so much. Jaime was always so talkative and always had a smile on his face when he was out.

Those left to cherish his love and memories are his parents; daughter: Layla Marquez; brother: Orlando Marquez; sister: Janessa Marquez; and grandparents: Eliselda and Jose Roman, and Aurelia and Jose Rodriguez.

Funeral Services will take place 10:00 AM Friday, September 21, 2018 at Acres West 24 Hour Chapel. Interment follows at Odessa II Gardens section of Ector County Cemetery.  Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Stephen Douglas Bickle, age 62, of Odessa passed away at his home on Thursday, September 20, 2018. He was born in San Angelo, TX on March 17, 1956 to the late A.R. and Roy Lee Casteel. He was an oilfield worker.

Those left to cherish his love and memory are his daughter: Stephanie Knight and husband Jamey of Odessa; brothers: Frankie Casteel of Wink, Thomas Bickle of Colorado, David Bickle of Odessa, A.H. Bickle of Oregon, Richard Bickle of Lafayette, LA, and Rodney Bickle of Oregon; two sisters: Mary Williams and Lorece Holmes, both of Odessa; grandchildren: Tiffaney Carroll, Victoria McDonald, Aimee Carroll, Logan Knight, and Garrett Nelson; and two great-grandchildren: Callie McDonald and Stone Cox.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother: Leland Casteel and sisters: Betty Sue Riley and Vivian Hanuschik.

Mauricio Hernandez Posadas, age 38, of Odessa, passed from this life Wednesday, September 19, 2018 in Midland, TX. He was born Wednesday, April 28, 1980 to Regino Hernandez and Rosa Posadas in El Salvador.

Those left to cherish his love and memories are his mother; wife: Claudia Posadas; sons: Erick Posadas and Issac Posadas; brothers: Miguel Posadas and Jose Alberto Posadas; and sisters: Anna Quijada, Mary Posadas and Reyna Posadas.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Jessie Viola Bruton, age 82, of Odessa passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018 in Odessa TX. She was born Wednesday, March 3, 1936 in Brownwood Texas, to the late Clarence Leon Lewis and Mildred Alleen Kelly.

Those left to cherish her love and memories are her sons: Cecil Joseph Bruton and Vernon Wesley Bruton, both of Odessa: daughter; Melba Alleen Montelongo of Austin; Brother: Clarence Wayne Lewis of Blanket TX; sisters: Frances Dalleh of Brownwood, and Linda Golson of Cross Plains; 15 grandchildren; and 34 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Ned Thomas Bruton; son: Audie Lee Bruton; sister: Virginia Miller; and 2 great grandchildren.

Visitation will start 2:00 PM Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, September 24, 2018 at Acres West Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow at Rosehill Gardens Section at Ector County Cemetery. Joe Edward Van Hemert, 67, passed away Friday, September 21, 2018. He was born Monday, November 10, 1950 in Olney, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Leonard Edward Van Hemert and Minnie Imogene Van Hemert; and sister: Connie Hendley.

Mr. Van Hemert is survived by his wife: Sherry Van Hemert; sister: Jeanie Krell; mother in-law: Paulene Towery; sisters in law: Carolyn Garcia, Paulette Stafford and husband Richard Stafford, and Marvita Moser; numerous nieces and nephews; beloved dog: Precious; and his long time best friend; Sam Boss and wife Kay Boss, Kevin Boss, Brad Boss and wife Kristine; Joshua Boss, Lisa Aguilar and husband Julio Aguilar, Mason Boss, Brianna Boss and Emmett Boss.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Bible Baptist Church in Odessa, TX located at 2801 Iola Drive.

Paul Anthony Bailey, age 52, of Odessa, Texas passed away on September 23, 2018 at 10:31 p.m. in Odessa Texas. An "In Memory Of" will be held Saturday September 29, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at 220 W. 48th street Odessa, Texas.

Paul Bailey was born January 13, 1966 to Ira Bailey Jr. and Laura Vargas at Eglin AFB, FL. He later married Laura Michelle Palmer on August 20, 1983 in Odessa, Texas. He was a skilled man of many trades with a love for cars.

Paul is preceded in death by his father, Ira Bailey Jr and brother, Alan B Bailey.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years: Laura Michelle Bailey and his dog Lucy; his two children: Zach Bailey and wife Tara Bailey, and Kyleigh Bailey-Gorrell and husband Ben Gorrell; and four grandchildren: Vaughn Bailey, Tyler Bailey, Nikole Bailey, and Rilyn Gorrell; his mother, sister, brother, and many nieces and nephews.

Judy Carol Love, age 71, passed from this life Tuesday, September 25, 2018 in Odessa, TX. She was born Saturday, February 15, 1947 to the late Virgil F. Mobley I and Melva Louise Oard in Noblesville, IN.

She owned and operated Love’s Auto Sales since 1997. Judy was a loving, caring, generous person who always put her family first. One of her passions was decorating and rearranging. She always kept an immaculate home. She was an independent woman who was always dressed to the nines. She lived her life to the fullest.

Those left to cherish her love and memories are her son: Todd Love and wife Marcey; brother: Virgil Mobley II and wife Vickie; grandchildren: Chastity Saunders and husband Joel, Jonathon Love and Jacob Love; great grandchild: Johnathan; nephews: Jason and Jeremy Mobley; and lifelong best friend:  Helen Davis.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Don Love, her parents, and her son: Tracy Boyette.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, October 1, 2018 at Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Because she fought so passionately against drug abuse, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, that you would please consider making a donation in her memory to: The Permian Basin Regional Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse or to the American Cancer Society.

Kenneth Wayne Jones

Kenneth Wayne Jones, age 64, of Odessa, passed from this life on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Medical Center Hospital.  He began this earthly journey in El Paso, TX on Thursday, June 17, 1954, born to the late Alva "Bill" Willis Jones and Hettie May (Bussell) Jones. He married Diana Chelf in Odessa on December 26, 1974 and they enjoyed over 43 years together. Kenneth worked in maintenance.

Those left to cherish his love and memory are his wife:  Diana Jones of Odessa; three lovely daughters:  Larressa Telaveras of Connecticut; Getina King of Ft. Worth, TX and Star Elliot of Odessa; sister:  Jerri McKinzie of Temple, TX; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one more on the way.

In addition to his parents, his brothers, Robert and James "Jimmy" Jones, precede him in death.

Memorial services will be at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Acres West Funeral Chapel, officiated by his brother-in-law, Ellis McKinzie.

Johnny Edward Robinson, age 56, of Odessa, passed from this life on Friday, September 28, 2018.  He was born in Odessa on July 25, 1962 to Elroy Robinson and Donnie Alberta Draughan. A graduate of Ector High School, Johnny worked in food processing in Bryan, TX at Sanderson Farms.  Throughout his life, he worked in the oil industry and restaurant industry. Johnny always loved to dance and kept his family and friends always smiling. 

Those left to cherish his love and memory are his mother:  Donnie Alberta Miles of Odessa; father:  his biological father Charles Henry Evans of Seagraves; his daughter :Riviera of Odessa; three brothers:  Lloyd Robinson of Littlefield, and Austin Robinson (Paula) and Lee Goodman, both of Odessa; sisters:  Denise Robinson Patterson of Mesquite, Ordelia Mayes (Kenny)of Odessa and Katrina Green (Arthur) of Houston; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will begin Monday, October 8, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Acres West Funeral Chapel.  Graveside services at Odessa II Garden of section Ector County Cemetery are scheduled for Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 1:00 pm officiated by Rev. Darren Willis of Bethlehem Baptist Church of Odessa, TX.

Alfonso Vasquez Ramirez Jr., age 55 of Odessa, passed away in at tragic accident in Odessa on Friday, September 28, 2018.  He was born in Odessa on Monday, May 20, 1963 to Antonia (Madrid) Ramirez and the late Alfonso V. Ramirez. 

Alfonso is survived by his mother:  Antonia M. Ramirez of Odessa; three sons:  Alfonso Ramirez III, Jesus Ramirez, and Angel Ramirez, all of Odessa; brother:  Jesse Ramirez of Longmont, CO; three sisters:  Corina R. Davila of Seagraves, Toni Ramirez of Odessa and Mary Ramirez of Odessa; and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Acres West Funeral Chapel, officiated by Pastor Humberto Porras.  Interment follows at Odessa II Gardens section of Ector County Cemetery.  Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Guadalupe R. Levario Bustamante, age 37, of Odessa, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Medical Center Hospital.  She began her earthly journey in Odessa on March 26, 1981, born to Manuel T. Levario and Consuelo (Ramirez) Levario.  She was a stay at home mom who was the heart of her home and a mom to the Tukon family.  She lifted your spirit just with her smile.

Those left to cherish her love and memory are her husband:  Manuel Bustamante; parents:  Manuel T. and Consuelo Levario; daughters:  Iliana Bustamante, Aydali Bustamante, and Victoria Bustamante; son:  Manuel Bustamante IV; brothers:  Saul Levario and Angel Levario and wife Maria Beltran-Levario; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded to her heavenly home by her brother:  Manuel R. "Baby" Levario.

Rosary will be recited at Acres West 24 Hour Chapel on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 1:00 pm, followed by funeral services at 2:00 pm.

Thomas Wayne Lebatard, age 74, passed from this life Saturday, September 29, 2018 at his residence in Odessa, TX. He was born Wednesday, October 6, 1943 to the late Lawrence Lebatard and Delilah Ford in Louisiana.

Those left to cherish his love and memories are his sons: Thomas Jr. Lebatard and Sydney Lebatard; brother: Art Lebatard; sister: Carolyn Jukes; and numerous grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son: Jonathan Lebatard; and daughters: Jennifer Forehand and Delilah Lebatard.

Ramon Oscar Blanco, Jr., age 37, of Odessa, passed away at Medical Center Hospital on Sunday, September 30, 2018.  He was born in  Ft. Stockton, TX on Tuesday, January 13, 1981 to the late Ramon Oscar Blanco and Angela (Rodriguez) Blanco.  He was self employed.

Ramon was a very loving husband and father who would give anything to make his family happy.  He thought very highly of his children and was a very good provider.  He loved lowriders and listening to the "oldies".  Getting and giving tattoos was his passion. 

Those left to cherish his love and memory are his wife: DeAnna Blanco; son:  Ceasar Blanco; daughter:  Bianca Yvonne Brito; four brothers:  George, Orlando, David, and Zach; and sisters:  Monica, Isabel, Veronica and Melissa.

Ramon is preceded to his heavenly home by his parents:  Ramon and Angela Blanco and his son:  Christian Blanco.

Visitation begins Monday, October 1, 2018 at 5:00 pm at the funeral home. Rosary will be recited at Acres West Funeral Chapel at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 3, 2018.  Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 pm Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Santos Armendariz de Sanchez, age 85, passed from this life on Sunday, September 30, 2018 in Odessa, Texas. She was born Friday, April 14, 1933 in El Mulato, Chihuahua, Mexico, to the late Marcelino Armendariz and Teodosa Hernandez Armendariz.

Those left to cherish her love and memories are sons: Roy Sanchez and wife Colleen, Efrain Sanchez and wife Frances, Anselmo Sanchez and wife Lorena, Arnulfo Sanchez and wife Estela; and daughters: Rosa Rangel and husband Mague, Nora Vasquez and husband Arturo; 14 grand children; 18 great grand children; and 14 great-great grand children.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; 3 brothers; 1 sister; grandson: Alex (Chubbs) Sanchez; 1 stepson: Gaudencio Sanchez and 1 step daughter: Alicia Carrasco Sanchez

Prayer Service will be 7 PM Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Santos will be laid to rest at El Panteon del Mulato Cementario, in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.
