Tammy Lynette Murphy, age 47, of Odessa, TX passed from this life on Saturday, November 4, 2017. She was born Sunday, August 2, 1970 to Judy Gail (Miller) and Arvil Lee Murphy in Baytown, TX. She married her husband Joel Murphy Monday, August 6, 2007 in Alamogordo, NM.
Those left to cherish her love and memories are her beloved husband: Joel Murphy of Odessa; her mother: Judy Gail Miller and husband Butch of Baytown; her father: Arvil Lee Murphy Jr. and wife Barbara of Odessa; one son: David Lee Himel and wife Kaylun of Monahans; one brother: Billy Wayne David and wife Aimee of Atlanta, GA; and one granddaughter: Savannah Himel of Monahans.

|Robert Dudley "Bob" Johnson|
Robert Dudley "Bob" Johnson, 71, of Galveston, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017 in Llano, Texas during a Round Rock GPAA river outing, doing what he loved, dredging for gold with his best friends, Brett Rowley and Michael Judd.
Bob served honorably in the US Army as a Lieutenant during the
Vietnam War. He was a three-time Texas power lifting record holder,
and later volunteered to judge high school power lifting meets. He
retired after 32 years as an engineer for Union Pacific Railroad.
He volunteered as a Koi judge for the ZNA for over 20 years. He
also volunteered at the Galveston Railroad Museum. After
retirement, Bob joined his wife Iris, with operating their gift
shop in Galveston. He served on the Civilian Review Board for the
Galveston Police Department, was a member of the Galveston Treasure
Hunters, the Gold Prospectors Association of America (GPAA), and
the Lost Dutchman Mining Association (LDMA).
Bob was born June 11, 1946 in Orlando, FL. He is survived by his
loving wife of 29 years, Iris Speed; son, Robert Johnson, Jr. and
wife Lalainya of Houston; his daughter, Tracy Hlavenka and husband
Joey of Round Rock; stepsons, Kevin Speed and wife Susan of
Wimberley and Sean Speed and wife Patricia of College Station;
stepfather, Bill Knight of Wimberley; sisters, Sarah Barlow of
Wimberley, Mary Elizabeth Hall of Thorndale, and Anna Slocum of San
Antonio; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He is
preceded in death by his mother Mary Jane Hodgkinson Knight.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

Rodolfo Mendoza Serna, age 75, of Odessa, TX passed from this life on Sunday, November 5, 2017. He was born in San Rosalia, Mexico on June 21, 1942 to the late Fernando and Maria Luisa (Mendoza) Serna.
He worked as a heavy machine operator for Briley Construction for over 30 years. Rodolfo enjoyed landscaping and cutting grass. He loved eating red enchiladas and watermelon, dancing and his goats. He would help anyone before he helped himself and was an amazing husband and the greatest father. He loved celebrating his anniversaries and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. Rodolfo battled cancer for the past 14 years. Through all the pain he would always say he was "bien" or "good" and never complained. Because of his positive attitude, his fighting spirit, and the tremendous support of his family, he was a good example and an inspiration to others.
Those left to cherish his love and memories are his wife of 53 years, Tomasita Serna; sons: Arnulfo Serna and wife Rebecca and Rodolfo Serna Jr. and wife Josie; daughter: Diana Rivera and husband Pilar (who was also his #1 son in law); brothers: Ruben Serna, Remedios Serna, Cruz Serna and Ismael Montes; twin sister: Maria Luisa Montes; as well as 13 grandchildren: Teresa Rizo, Angelica Serna, Michelle Serna, Carolina Serna, Cynthia Serna, Kassandra Rivera, Dianalee Rivera, Yuralee Rivera, Uriel Rivera, Nayeli Serna, Jesus Manuel Serna Jr, Joe Angel Serna and Rachel Serna and 3 great-grandchildren: Victoria Rizo, Ian Serna and Juan Carlos Galindo.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son: Jesus Manuel Serna; brothers: Rosalio Serna and Ramon Serna and sister: Felicita Flores.
Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Acres West 24 Hour Funeral Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, followed by interment at the Peaceful Gardens section of Ector County Cemetery. Joyce Lee (Conder) Crispin, age 56, of Gardendale, TX entered eternity on Monday, November 6, 2017. She was born in Olney, TX on Sunday, August 6, 1961 to Eddie Dewayne and Glenda Joyce Lee Conder.
Those left to cherish her love and memories are her parents: Eddie Conder and Glenda Joyce Lee (Conder) Wadley; daughters: LaTesha Riggs and husband Stan and Tiala Salinas and husband David, both of Odessa; son: Larry D. Johnson of Odessa; brother: Douglas Eggleston of Spring, TX; sister: Della Jo Hensley of Marathon, TX; as well as 14 grandchildren: Kaylie, Jayden, Tristen, Daman, Raven, Mariana, Aleah, Eliza, Eric, Emma, Sarah, David Jr., Juan, Ashley; 6 great-grandchildren: Alfredo, Santos, Isaiah, Genesis, Salina and Camila and numerous friends and family.

Rachel Marie Perales, age 50, of Lubbock, TX, formerly of Coyanosa entered eternity on Wednesday, November 8, 2017. She was born in Pecos, TX on June 12, 1967 to the late Porfirio and Ignacia (Mesa) Perales.
Those left to cherish her love and memories are her brothers: Armando Perales and wife Irma, Porfirio “Pilo” Perales Jr. and wife Elena and Esiquio “Zeke” Perales and wife Lori; sisters: Olga Abila and husband Cruz, Viola Alvarez and husband Jesse, Alicia Perales, Cleopatra Soto and Priscilla Perales Villegas and husband Albert; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; nephew: Cruz Abila Jr. and brother-in-law: Leopoldo Soto.

Christine (Quell) Faglie, 59, of Midland, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017. She was born Monday, January 13, 1958 to Elizabeth and Helmut Quell in Comstock, Germany.
Those left to cherish her love and memories are one son: Allen Faglie and wife Danielle of Midland; one daughter: Dawn Busbee and husband Rickey of Midland; one brother: Helmut Quell of Germany; one sister: Marguite Thomas of Washington; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Ollie "Marvine" Byrnes, age 76, passed away peacefully, Thursday, November 9, 2017 in Ozona, TX. She was born in Rankin, TX on October 11, 1941 to Bert and Ollie Belle (Wall) Potts.
Marvine was a faithful member of Southside Baptist Church in Monahans for over 40 years. She took great joy in delivering the taped sermons to shut-in members each week. She was a very gifted and talented crocheter and those who knew her very seldom ever left without one of her special crocheted pot holders or hot pads.
Marvine worked many years for Mitchell Food and then as a sitter for the elderly. She loved each and every one of the individuals she sat with.
Marvine is preceded in death by her parents, her brother: Buddy Potts; sister: Barbara West; and grandson: Casey Brewer.
She is survived by her daughter: Rita Diane Brewer; grandsons: Daniel Bigham and Colin Brewer; and great-grandchildren: Anastasia Bigham and Daniel Bigham Jr.; sister: LaDonna Truelock and husband James; brother-in-law: Sherman West; special lifelong friends: Larry and Gloria Sprouse. Many nieces, a nephew, cousins, and friends are left to cherish her memory.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 15th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Southside Baptist Church, 1402 S. Main, Monahans, TX. Services will be at 2:00 pm at Southside with Brother Mark Fricke officiating. Graveside services will follow at Monahans Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Bigham, David Haygood, Chris Stout, James Truelock, Sherman West and Mary Williamson.

Joseph Ali Urquidez, age 25, of Odessa, TX entered eternity on Thursday, November 9, 2017. He was born in Phoenix, AZ on October 10, 1992 to Donna (Orozco) Urquidez and the late Jose Francisco Urquidez.
Joseph had a big heart and an even bigger personality. He loved to laugh and make those around him laugh and feel loved. His presence lit up the room. His carefree spirit, personality, and attitude were his most outstanding traits. Anyone who knew him, knew he had a knack for turning any event into a memorable one. Joseph was one of the most real people you would ever meet: so honest, loving and loyal. He cherished his friends and strangers as well. He just loved everyone he came across.
Those left to cherish his love and memories are his mother: Donna Urquidez of Odessa; maternal grandmother: Prude Orozco of Odessa; maternal grandfather: Andres Orozco of Midland; paternal grandmother: Olga Soto of Sonora, MX; two brothers: Fabian Urquidez of Odessa and Omar Urquidez of Austin; sister: Bianca Carrasco and husband Homero of Odessa; nieces and nephew: Violet, Iris, Ivory, Cassandra, Jared, Mariana, and Camila; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father and paternal grandfather.
Public visitation at the funeral home begins Tuesday, November 14th. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Acres West 24 Hour Chapel, officiated by Pastor Joshua Zuniga. Interment follows at Odessa II Gardens of Ector County Cemetery.

Jose Maria Reyes Villa, age 81, of Odessa, TX entered eternity on Monday, November 13, 2017. He was born in Guadalupe, Chihuahua, Mexico on July 2, 1936 to the late Francisco and Emiteria (Villa) Reyes. Jose was a very happy and free spirited man. He enjoyed visiting family members, going to flea markets and making ice cream with his grandchildren. He also loved music and to go dancing.
Those left to cherish his love and memories are his sons: Francisco Reyes (Araceli) of Harlingen, TX, Victor Reyes of Odessa, Daniel Reyes and Ruben Reyes, both of Guadalupe Distrito Bravo, MX; daughters: Maria del Pilar Rojas (Antonio), Paula Reyes (Arturo) and Martha A. Reyes (Hector Manuel Munoz), all of Odessa; brothers: Alvino Reyes of Lovington, NM and Oscar Reyes (Alicia) of Fabens, TX; as well as 30 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
