Lynn Ann (Hundley) Brown, age 51, of Odessa, Texas, passed from this
life on Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at Hospice House in Odessa.
She was born October 8, 1960 in Ft. Davis, TX to Robert and
Linda (Speight) Hundley.
She had been a manager for Alco and Walmart.
She is survived by her two daughters:
Jamie Wren and husband Mike of Wagner, S.D. and Jennifer Brown
of Odessa; two sons: David
Brown and wife Amber and Dylan Brown, all of Odessa; long-time friend
and companion: Stacy
Sandlin of Odessa; and eight grandchildren:
Jaytan and Jayclin Brown, Tatum Wren, Cameron Wren, Hayden Wren,
Ryan Wren, Ashton Brown, and Zakari Brown.

Joseph Garcia Luna, “Jo Jo”, age 22, of Odessa, passed away
Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at his home.
He was born in Odessa on February 17, 1989.
He worked as a waiter at Tequila Tony’s Mexican
Jo Jo was a big hearted person, who was always smiling.
He was a hard worker and never asked anyone else for
artistic person, he enjoyed drawing.
He also liked writing songs and was a free-style rapper.
Joseph was a family guy; his brothers meant the world to
him and he was devoted to his nephews.
He was a bit of a loner and often wore a smirk that made
you wonder what he had been up to.
Jo Jo also loved drinking his 40’s.

Rosary will be said Monday evening at 7:30 pm at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be at Acres West Funeral Chapel at 10:00 am Tuesday, December 20, 2011, Salvador Hernandez and Glenda Rodriguez officiating. Audrey Faye (McDaniel) Carrell, age 81, of Odessa, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2011, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. She was born in Rifle, CO on April 4, 1930. She was a retired bookkeeper.
Mrs. Carrell was a faithful woman who enjoyed reading her Bible. Family was very important to her and she was a devoted “Grandma” and “Nan Naw”.
She is survived by her daughters: Vickey Luna and husband Rudy and Janet Black, all of Odessa; one son: Jim Carrell of Fort Worth; a very close nephew: Larry Linker of Denver, CO; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren

|Raymond Neal Whiteside|
Raymond Neal Whiteside, age 73, of Odessa went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Buena Vida Nursing Home. He was born in Mart, TX on January 31, 1938 to Rufus Neal Whiteside and Lurlene (Wilson) Whiteside. He married Patricia “Patsy” Harper on October 7, 1970 in Odessa.
He started work in the oilfield as a teenager, driving an oilfield truck and moving rigs. Then, he roughnecked and worked with casing crews. He worked in Texas as well as offshore in Louisiana and Libya. He later opened and operated his own business, Whiteside Casing Crews in Laredo, TX. He loved his business and thought of his employees as family. Raymond met many friends during his time in Laredo and loved South Texas.
Raymond was a big hearted, loving, and generous man. He was kind and helpful and had no enemies; to meet him was to make a new friend. He enjoyed sitting in old bars telling old oilfield stories and loved trucks. After his stroke in January of 1996, he had his wife, Patsy, carry him to every trucking company and equipment yard in West Texas. He was a determined man and if he made up his mind to do something, you could count on it being done.
Mr. Whiteside is survived by his wife: Patricia “Patsy” Whiteside of Odessa; his mother: Lurlene Cody of Nacogdoches; son: Troy Don Williams of Odessa; daughters: Nina Jo Wilson and Ramona Jo Smith, both of Nacogdoches, and Terri Mendez and husband Richie of Salinas, CA; brother: David L. Whiteside and wife Laura of Marengo, IL; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and one great-grandbaby on the way.
He was preceded in death by his father: Rufus Whiteside and his son: Ted Ray Williams.
A family visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, December 16, 2011 from 6 to 9:00 pm. Funeral services are 3:00 pm Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Acres West Funeral Chapel officiated by Brother Ronnie Newton, long time pastor and family friend. The family would like to thank the nursing staff of Buena Vida Nursing Center for the care he received while staying there.

Michael Lewis Riggins, age 47, of Odessa, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, December 15, 2011, in Andrews. He was born Monday, June 1, 1964 in Del Rio to the late William “Bob” and Joe Ruth (Everett) Riggins.
Michael had a lot of loves and interests in life - the Lord Christ, Family and Friends. He loved to ride his motorcycle all the time and drive his Corvette, go on bike rallies, and watch drag racing and all motor sports. He also enjoyed flea markets and swap meets anywhere, as well as the outdoors – fishing and camping. He also supported and was involved in Walk for Life and cancer survivors and MDA. He will be greatly missed by all but the Lord got a great angel in return.
Those left to cherish his love and memory are two brothers: Terry Barbee of Odessa and Bobby Riggins of Midland; four sisters: Jackie Smith and husband Ed of Lubbock, Rita Owen and husband Paul of Norman, OK., Barbara Scott and husband Charles and Theresa Barbee and husband Dewayne Chandler, all of Odessa.
He also leaves behind nieces and nephews: Renee Barbee, Larry Bishop, Stacy Martinez, John Wesley Barbee III, Sherrie Chalker, April Scott, Angel Bruton, Ashley Scott, Lindsay Riggins, Donna Self, Trey Gardenhower, and Nicki Gardenhower.
Michael is also preceded in death by one brother, John Wesley Barbee II and a nephew: Dwayne Barbee.
Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland, at 11 am, Thursday, December 22, 2011, with Brother Eddy Elliot leading family and friends in prayer. Lanny Lynn Foreman, Sr.
Lanny Lynn Foreman, Sr., age 71, passed from this life on Friday, December 16, 2011 at his Odessa home. He was born in Hobbs, NM on October 7, 1940 to the late Warren William Foreman and Minnie Cora (Baggett) Foreman. He was a mechanic and owned and operated Lanny’s Automotive. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Lanny was a US Navy Veteran and a member of the Eagles Lodge. An outdoorsman, Mr. Foreman enjoyed fishing and camping.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter: Angie Foreman Dunlap and husband James Williams of Rising Star; son: Lynn Foreman and wife Kelly of Odessa; sister: Sharon Simpson and husband Lee of Weatherford; and seven grandchildren.
His wife, Emily (Kimbrough) Foreman, preceded him in death in 2006. His son, David Foreman, also precedes him in death, having passed away in 1989.

Francis Howard “Squirrel” Pratt of Odessa, age 30, passed from this life on Friday, December 16, 2011 in Lynn County near O’Donnell, TX due to fatal accident at work. He was born on May 06, 1981 in Geneva, NY to Earl Francis and Rainie (Watts) Pratt. Squirrel loved cars and motorcycles, wolves, and hunting. He also enjoyed playing video games with his nieces and nephews. Squirrel excelled in the ROTC program in high school and was a hot shot shooter.

William Samuel “Bill” Engle Jr., age 61, of Goldsmith passed from this life on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Medical Center Hospital. He was born on June 08, 1950 in San Francisco, CA to the late William Samuel and Virginia (Gaffney) Engle.
Bill loved camping and fishing and always enjoyed wearing his shorts with his military hiking boots and knee hi socks. A hilarious person, he had a great sense of humor and never met a stranger. Full of life, very caring, always kind and charismatic, Bill was a hugger. A retired veteran of the U. S. Navy, he was a very loving husband and father.

James Harold Belknap, 78, of Odessa, passed from this life on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Medical Center Hospital. He was born in Belfont, West Virginia on March 21, 1933 to the late James Grover Belknap and Belle (Rollyson) Belknap. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict and graduated from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Mo with a degree in theology. James married Saundra Binnion on June 1, 1956 at Temple Baptist Church in Odessa. He retired from working as a safety manager for the United States Postal Service.
Mr. Belknap taught Sunday School for 50 years and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He enjoyed computers and genealogy, but his favorite hobby was his great-granddaughters.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife: Saundra Belknap of Odessa; three sons: David Belknap and wife Sheila of Odessa, Mark Belknap and wife Debbie of Biloxi, MS, and Paul Belknap of Orange, TX; two daughters: Nancy Todd and husband Randy of Denton and Jamie Belknap of Odessa; two brothers: Charles Belknap and wife Sue of Warsaw, IN and Jerry Belknap and wife Cris of Ravenna, OH; eight grandchildren: Amy Cook and husband Michael, Michael Belknap and wife Elizabeth, Lisa Belknap, Jenny Belknap, Zachary Belknap, Patrick Todd, Charlie Belknap, and Morgan Belknap; two great-grandchildren: Addison Belknap and Eden Cook; uncle: Orville Belknap of Titusville, FL and aunt: Jessie Belknap of Florida.

Christopher Wayne Sykes, age 28, of Midland, passed from this life unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 20, 2011, in Killeen, TX. He was born in Odessa on June 8, 1983 to Kenneth Sykes and Sharon (Townsley) Floyd. He married Virginia McCarty in Bedford, TX on July 10, 2010. He was a landscaper.

Nadine Pinson Espinoza, age 44, of Odessa, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Medical Center Hospital after a fatal car accident. She was born in Truth or Consequences, NM on October 18, 1967 to J.L. Pinson, Sr. and Elisa (Lucero) Pinson. She was a convenience store clerk and a cosmetologist.
She is survived by her husband: Freddy Espinoza of Odessa; mother: Elisa Pinson of Hobbs; two sons: Joseph Espinoza and Joshua Espinoza, both of Odessa; daughter: Jaden Espinoza of Odessa; and three brothers: J.L. Pinson, Jr. of Hobbs, Don Pinson of Odessa, and Mitchell Pinson of Hobbs.
Her father precedes her in death.

|Anthony Wayne Settles|
Anthony Wayne Settles, age 24, was called away to Heaven on Thursday, December 22, 2011, at Medical Center Hospital. He was born in Odessa on October 25, 1987 and was a lifetime Odessa resident. Anthony graduated from Odessa High School in 2006. He went directly from high school into the service in the US Marine Corps. Following his military service, he worked as a roughneck. After an accident in 2007, Anthony was left without use of his legs. Although he was paralyzed, he never gave up hope and was always an inspiration to so many people. His presence could light up a room. He now walks in Heaven with the Lord.
Anthony was a big Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a very intelligent man and a much loved son. He will be terribly missed.

Stacey Jones Fingerle, age 29, of Odessa, Texas, passed from this life on Thursday, December 22, 2011. She was born in Crane on November 19, 1982 to the late David and Eva (Herrera) Jones. Stacey married Jeffrey Ross Fingerle in Lake Tahoe, NV on October 11, 2007.
Stacey was a homemaker. She loved baking, caring for others, and spending time with family. She was always making sure others were ok and giving far more than she received. She had a deep affinity for all animals and loved her pets.

Rosendo Vasquez Corral, age 64, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2011 at his Odessa residence. He was born in Durango, Mexico on May 6, 1947 to Lucas and Leonides (Vasquez) Corral. He was Catholic.
Rosendo was always happy and full of life. He was energetic and loved the outdoors. Although he was a jokeful person, he was also a hard worker and a jack-of-all-trades.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife: Maria de Lourdes (Carmona) Corral of Odessa; two daughters: Anna and Nathalie Corral, both of Odessa; seven children from Mexico; six brothers and sisters; numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Michael Steward “Mike” MacDougall, age 75, of Odessa, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Hospice House of Odessa. He was born in Greenwich, CT on December 28, 1936. He was a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by his son: Johnny MacDougall of Shelton, CT; daughter: Tanja Ortiz of Odessa; brother-in-law: Rocko Tutlo of Florida; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
