Bryan Earl Campbell
The life of Bryan Earl Campbell will be celebrated on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 1pm at Acres West Funeral Chapel, officiated by Rev. Jimmy Braswell. Pallbearers will be grandchildren: Gerron McClure, Brodee Barbee, Terron Barbee, Codee Coppedge, Jordee Coppedge, and Cade Coppedge. Burial will follow in the Crane Cemetery at 3 pm. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4pm. He died May 4, 2011 at ORMC.
Bryan was born October 4, 1940 to Maurine Hartman and Earl Campbell in Breckenridge, Texas. He attended Odessa High School. Throughout his life, Bryan worked for various grocery stores in Odessa, Texas. He was also a route salesman for Pepsi and Coca Cola. He then was a driver for Permian Oil Corporation. His final job was as a night watchman for Jones Brothers Construction. Bryan loved wrestling, barbequing, Harley Davidson, old cars, antique furniture and he loved to talk: he never met a stranger.
Bryan married Jacki Moore on June 25, 1959 in Georgetown, Texas. Together they have 4 children, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and step dad OC Hartman, sister Pat Turman and daughter Glenda Barbee.
He is survived by wife Jacki of Odessa, one son David Campbell and wife Karla of McCamey, Texas, daughters Gina Coppedge and husband Bobby of Gary, Texas, Renee Roberts and husband James of Odessa. Grandchildren Genifer Stacker, Gerron McClure, Nikki Maldonado, Brodee Barbee, Terron Barbee, Codee Coppedge, Jordee Coppedge, Cade Coppedge, and Chelby Coppedge. Great grandchildren Mason, Garrett, Landon, Blayke, Jacelyn, Brooklyn, Audree, and newest addition Zoee. Two nieces and a nephew.

Wilma Elizabeth Dominey
Wilma Elizabeth Dominey, age 76, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2011, at her home in Odessa. She was born in Vernon, TX on May 8, 1934 to Sylvester William Pitchford and Gladys Alene (Hickey) Pitchford. Ms. Dominey was employed by 7-11 as a cashier for 30 years. She was a member of the World Wide Church of God and Bible Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by four daughters: Debra Zulke of Crockett, Sharron Graham and Susan Fletcher, both of Brazoria, and Ann Meyers and husband Mark of California; four sons: Alvin Dominey and wife Zula, Eddy Dominey and fiancé Wilma Elizabeth “Libby” Davis, and Loy Dominey and wife Sherry, all of Odessa, and James Dominey and wife Lisa of Orlando, Fla.; one sister: Jan Pitchford of Odessa; twenty-four grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her father: Sylvester William Pitchford; mother: Gladys A. Coombes and husband Joseph Willard Coombes; brothers: William Edgar Pitchford and Loy Warren Pitchford; and sister: Audry Wright, precede her in death.

Carroll Ray Holder, Sr.
Carroll Ray Holder, Sr., age 68, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 6, 2011 after a long illness. He was born in Morton, TX on November 21, 1942 to Jack and Mildred Holder. He grew up in Monahans, then served six years in Germany in the US Army after joining in 1959. When he returned to the states in 1965, he worked for a short time for Coca Cola, then worked in the oilfield. He later opened his own trucking company.
He is survived by his children: Brenda Holder and companion Diana McDonald and Carroll Ray Holder, Jr. “Tex” and wife Kelly, all of Odessa; the mother of his children; his mother: Mildred Holder Shipman and husband Glen of Kingsland; brother: Johnny Holder and wife Chris of Odessa; two sisters: Gwen J. Holder of Kingsland and Linda Sue Holder of Granite Shoals; four grandchildren: Brandon, Danielle, Julie, and John; two great-grandchildren: Alex and Stavie; five nephews and four nieces. He was loved and will be greatly missed by all those that loved him.Graveside services with military honors will be 2:00 pm Monday, May 9, 2011 at West Texas Memorial Park, 4100 N. FM 1788, Midland, officiated by Pastor Dalton Froman. Pallbearers will include Brandon Holder, John Holder, Tim Lancaster, Gary Lancaster, Lonnie Frailey, and Thomas Frailey. She was born in Midland on December 15, 1957 to Shirley Ann
(Biggs) McCollum and Charles Michie McCollum.
She was a draftsman.
She was very artistic, loved the outdoors, and an excellent cook.
She was a caring, loving woman who enjoyed caring for others.

Jason Randall Bushong was born October 26, 1987 in Odessa, Texas. He joined Jesus and others he loved on May 8, 2011. Jason graduated from Levelland High School with honors in 2006 where he played varsity basketball and golf. He attended Frank Phillips College on a golf scholarship, and worked as an Independent Petroleum Landman for the past two years. Jason was a member of Ranchland Heights Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday school and was active with the youth group. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jim Bushong, and maternal grandparents Don and Fay Allison.
Known as a caring and compassionate person, Jason was a kind soul who never met a stranger. He was a “gentle giant” with a sweet spirit who hugged freely and loved deeply. A loyal friend to many and a dependable caregiver to his family, Jason was a “rock” in times of need and was always willing to help. His smile could light up the room, while his wit and humor brought laughter to many. He loved the Lord, his family (especially his niece Mallary), his friends whom he considered his family, and his dog Daisy. His happiest times were spent with his love Kaleigh, playing basketball and golf, coaching Little Dribblers Basketball, helping the youth at church and church camp, working on cars and stereos, and spending time with friends. Jason’s ministry, testimony, and memory will live on, as he lives in our hearts forever.
Jason is survived by his father, Randy Bushong; mother, Kitrena Bushong; sister, Renee Pettigrew and husband, Shae; niece, Mallary; and grandmother, Shirley Bushong; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; and a multitude of friends.
The family will receive friends at Acres West Funeral Home on Friday, May 13, 2011, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service to honor Jason’s life will be on Saturday, May 14, 2011, at 10 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 8644 Andrews Highway, Odessa, Texas, with Pastor Gary Douglas officiating and Pastor James Bishop assisting. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Ciro Morales, age 91, passed away on Wednesday, May 11,
2011, at his Odessa residence.
He was born in San Pedro, Coyame, Chihuahua Mexico on January
31, 1920 to Bernardo Morales and Santos (Franco) Morales. He was a
laborer. He was Catholic.
He is survived by his three daughters:
Emigdia Morales of Odessa, Ofelia Navarrete of Coyame, MX, and
Janette Morales of Odessa;
five sons: Ciro Morales,
Jr. of Odessa, Bernardo Morales of Coyame, MX, Carlos Morales of
Coyame, MX, Jerry Morales of Odessa, and Luis Morales of Odessa; twelve
grandchildren: Ciro, Rosa, Osbaldo, Saul, Angel, Fernando, Nicha,
Rosa, Geneva, Bernardo, Ciro Jr. and Irene; and thirty-seven great-grandchildren.

Cleve Ray Luxton, 76, passed away at home in Odessa on Friday, May
13th. Ray was born in El Paso on August 17, 1934, lived in a number
of places in the western US, graduated high school in Kerrville,
and married his wife Jackie in Monahans in June 1954. Ray worked in
a number of jobs, and retired from Shell Oil with 30 years of
service. Ray loved his family, his dogs, practical jokes, fishing,
hunting, scratch off tickets, the occasional slot machine, and
Myrl Anderson, age 95, of Odessa, passed away on
Friday, May 13, 2011 at Hospice House in Odessa. He was born on March
13, 1916 in Protection, Kansas to the late William and Meredith
Anderson. He was a welder.
Survivors include his sons: Arthur Renteria Veliz of
Stanton, Richard Renteria Veliz, and Mike Renteria Anderson, both of
Odessa; daughters: Mary Sanchez of Houston, Rosie Guerrero of Giddings,
TX, Petra Alarcon of Mesa, AZ, and Janie Anderson of Odessa; 20
grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
His parents; wife: Petra Renteria Anderson; three sons: Raymond Renteria Valdez, Raul Renteria Veliz, and David Renteria Veliz; and one daughter: Vera Torres, precede him in death.

Michael Joe Lepard was born on December 14, 1966 to Jackie & Joyce
Lepard. He passed from this world and entered his eternal life May 13,
2011. Mike enjoyed collecting old toys and novelty items, listening to
music and being with his family and friends. He was a wonderful, loving
dad, uncle and best friend.
He will be deeply missed by his son, J.J. Lepard and J.J.'s fiancée Brooke, his daughter, Chelsea Alvarado and two wonderful grandsons, Conner and Cayson Lewis, his niece, Kimberley and nephew, Jimmy.

Jim D. McEachern, 86, of Odessa, passed away Friday, May 13, 2011, at Hospice House after a short illness. He was born September 30, 1924, in Simpson, Louisiana, to Wallace Daniel and Carrie Lena McEachern. He was a veteran of World War II, entering the U.S. Army at age 18, in April, 1943, and serving until discharged December 16, 1945.
He was always a fan of the Odessa
Broncho football team and followed them everywhere during the good
years. He also became a Permian Panther football fan a little
later on. He loved all sports, and especially followed
University of Texas and Texas Tech football and Texas Rangers
baseball. He was a voracious reader and, until the last, he
was interested in, knowledgeable about, and conversant with
everything, including world events, sports and politics, even though
leading a very quiet life.
He is survived by his daughter, Danna
Manning, his grandsons, David Kirkpatrick and Michael and Jen Hides,
Summer and Seanna, all of South Elgin, Illinois. He is also
survived by his sister Winona Green and husband John and his niece,
Cari Langford, of Odessa, and her children, Seth, Mallory and Alex.
Also surviving him are his former wife and always friend, Pat
Poisson, with whom he shared good time toward the end, along with
her daughters, Tena Noebel and Traci Shryack.
A memorial service and interment will be held at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Veteran’s Cemetery, with military honors, on August 19th. He is missed and will be lovingly remembered always.

Earnest Loyd Boone, age 85, passed away on
Sunday, May 15, 2011, at his Odessa residence. He was born in
Vera, TX on February 6, 1926 to Earnest Matt Boone and Sibbie
(Bohanan) Boone. He was a driller and tool pusher in the
oilfield. He was Baptist.
He is survived by his three daughters: Patricia D. Boone of Odessa, Sharie E. Brantley of Stanton, and Ruth L. Tullous of Houston; two sons: Loyd K. Boone of Jacksboro, and Kenneth L. Boone of Odessa; fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
His parents; wife: Margaret Evelyn (Cowart) Boone; daughter: Brenda Kay; four brothers: Clifford, Hershell, Daniel, and Tony; and three sisters: Carol, Lois, and Thelma; precede Earnest in death.

Jose Filomeno Corral, age 66, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on Tuesday,
May 17, 2011, at Medical Center Hospital.
Corral was employed as a maintenance man by Sunset Country Club.
He was born in Durango, Mexico on June 28, 1944 to the late
Lucas and Leonides (Vasquez) Corral.
He is survived by two sons: Jorge Corral of Odessa and Felipe Corral of El Paso; four sisters: Librada Martinez of Odessa, Socorro Valdiviez of Lovington, NM, Paula Abila of Phoenix, Ariz. and Rosa Delgadillo of Juarez, MX; three brothers: Lucas Corral of Phoenix, Ariz., Rosendo Corral of Odessa, and Jesus Corral of Chicago, Ill.; eleven grandchildren: Jorge D. Corral, Jose A. Corral, Oscar F. Corral, Claudia V. Reyes, Laura Y. Corral, Lucas Corral, Gladys Patricia Corral, Luis Felipe Corral, Liliana Corral, Joel Corral, and Perla Guzman; and ten great-grandchildren: David Corral, Daniel Corral, Jose Jr. Corral, Jayden Corral, Klaudia Reyes, Angel Gabriel Reyes, Dalila Fuentes, Santiago Fuentes, Idali Corral, and Angel Corral; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Stephen “Steve” David Combest, age 49, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on
Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at his residence.
He was born Odessa on October 18, 1961 to Cecil Park and Donna
Jean (Lansford) Combest.
Stephen was a truck driver. He loved playing music and played the lead
guitar. In 1992, he was a member of the band Puppy Slam. Music was his
life. He would have played music 24 hours a day, seven days a week. He
dreamed of recording an album. Stephen loved being around friends and
family. He would give anyone the shirt off his back. His close friends,
who will dearly miss him, are Michael and Rhonda Ybaben, Scott Brown,
Rocky Steen, Matt Blackmon, Rex Scown, and Mike Burke.
He is survived by three brothers:
Kenneth Combest of Odessa, Park Combest of Houston, and Robert
Combest of San Antonio.

William Neal “Bill” Dutch
William Neal “Bill” Dutch, age 57, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on
Saturday, May 21, 2011, in Odessa.
He was born in Conaway, VA on January 10, 1954 to Dalton and
Fayetta (Swiney) Dutch.
Bill was a biker and enjoyed riding his Harley. He also loved to work
in the yard. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandkids.

Michael Jay Vandenberg
Michael Jay Vandenberg, age 32, of Odessa, Texas, died Sunday, May 22, 2011, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. He was born in Denver, CO on March 1, 1979. He was an oilfield electrician.
Mike was a wonderful father and husband, a very caring, giving person with a heart of gold. He was very free spirited and saw nothing wrong with smoking pot. He was a conspiracy theory nut who was very resourceful and loved information concerning aliens and such.
He is survived by his wife: Tracy Vandenberg of Odessa; mother: Patricia Serene Lopez of Aurora, CO; grandmother: Kay Vandenberg of Denver, CO; grandfather: Ken Kishiyama of Denver, CO; daughter: Alexandria Vandenberg of Odessa; four sons: Dominic Vandenberg of Fountain, CO, and Charles Russell, Daniel Vandenberg, and Blake Vandenberg, all of Odessa; one sister: Alicia Brown of Denver, CO; and one brother: Kenneth Chapman of Brighton, CO.
One son, Allen Vandenberg, preceded him in death on June 20, 2004.
