Jessica Taylor Allen
Jessica Taylor Allen, age 57, died Friday, November 30, 2007 at her residence in Odessa.  She was born Friday, July 14, 1950 in Hobbs, NM and was a caregiver.
Jessica is survived by her husband, Pete Arroyo of Midland, two sons, Trevin Michael Hanchett of Odessa and Michael Dalton Hanchett of Midland, and two sisters, Mary Anne Hull of Mead, OK and Betty Connel of Hobbs, NM.
Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Word of God Ministries in Odessa with Gabriel Chavez officiating.  Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Jerry Wayne Harper
Jerry Wayne Harper, age 53, of Odessa died December 5,2007 at his residence.  He was born January 21, 1954 in Odessa. 

He worked as an oilfield roughneck/caser.  In his spare time he loved to fish and hunt.  He would barbeque on the grill or work in his vegetable garden.  He was also a coin collector and a western movie buff.

Those left to mourn the loss of Jerry include his loving wife:  Marilyn Harper of Odessa; his mother:  Darlene Ellison of Aspermont, TX; step-father:  Boyce Ellison of Aspermont, TX; father:  Charles Wayne Harper of Rockwall, TX; two daughters:  Dee Dee Stewart and Teresa Emery, both of Odessa; three brothers:  Larry Harper, Bobby Harper, and Johnny Harper, all of Odessa; one sister:  Kay Maynard of Rockwall, TX and four grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 pm, Friday, December 7, 2007 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Don Palmer officiating.  Services are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Regina Halbrooks
Regina Leah Halbrooks, age 39, of Odessa died December 5, 2007 at Hospice House of Odessa.  She was born November 4, 1968 in Pecos, TX.  She was a restaurant cook.
She is survived by her husband:  Larry Lee Colbath of Odessa; step-mother:  Mary Halbrooks of Odessa; and two sisters:  Tanya Ritchey of Monahans and Sheila Sweetzer of Odessa.
Regina is preceded in death by her father:  Danny Lee Halbrooks, and mother:  Joyce Laverne Pace Halbrooks.

Memorial services will be 1 pm Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at Acres West Funeral Chapel.  Services are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel of Odessa.

Jimmy Lee Davis

Jimmy Lee Davis was born August 9, 1953 in Pecos, TX to Beatrice and Lee Davis.  Jimmy’s sunset came in Odessa, TX on December 7, 2007. 

Preceding him in death were three brothers:  James Hutlean, Rodger Davis, and Lee Ralph Davis; two sisters:  Shirley Smiley and Georgie Willis; and his beloved mother and father. 

Survivors are his wife:  Lydia Davis; his seven children:  Myron Jenkins, Jennifer Moreno, Lee Ralph Davis, Lee Jay Davis, Terrence Powell, Laura Lee Johnson, and Lahvonda Davis; two sisters:  Laura Mosbly and Maggie Harris, one brother: George Jimmy Allen; daughters-in-law: Pam, April, Shala, and Lakiesha; sons-in-law:  Billy Jr. and Kendric Graham; twenty-six grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Rosary will be said 7:00 pm Monday, December 10, 2007 at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at Los Angeles Cemetery led by Rev. E. J. Miller.  Pallbearers will be Trevor Jenkins, Christopher Jones, C. J. Davis, Eddie Stevenson, Nevatiny Berry, and Kendric Graham.  Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Ralph Davis, Lee Jay Davis, Billy Johnson Jr., Leon Mosbly, Larry Mosbly, and Bobby Joe Henderson.  Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel. 

Wilbert Lee Fuller

Wilbert Lee Fuller, age 69, of Odessa passed from this life on Sunday, December 9, 2007 at Medical Center Hospital.  He was born Sunday, October 2, 1938 in Corsicana, TX to Gilbert and Louise (Burns) Fuller.  He was retired from Chevron. 

Wilbert married Jessie Dennis June 15, 1959, they enjoyed 48 wonderful years together. He was a hard worker. Because of the type of work he did, he got the opportunity to see a lot of the world, traveling and working overseas.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  Wilbert loved all of his children, legally or heart-adopted.  He was quick to tell them when they were wrong, but they all knew he loved them. 

Those left to cherish his love and memory include his loving wife: Jessie Fuller of Odessa; two sons: Bryan Neil Fuller of Lindsay, OK and Joel Curtis of Odessa; one daughter:  Theresa Dawn Fuller of Odessa; one brother:  William Fuller and wife Martha of Okmulgee, OK; sisters-in-law:  Jean Fuller of Alamogordo, NM, and Thelma Dennis and Mary Ellen Brown, both of Odessa; seven grandchildren:  Brandi Portelance, Destiny Clanton, Christopher Lee McCarty, Devon Fuller, all of Odessa and Tyler, Chance, and Rayden of Lindsay, OK; two great-grandchildren:  Mykensy Reynolds and Triston Clanton; and lots of nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents:  Gilbert and Louise Fuller and one brother:  Melton Fuller. 

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at Acres West Funeral Chapel with Brother Dewey Blevins officiating.  Pallbearers will be Chris McCarty, Bryan Fuller, Perry Kennedy, Clayton Dennis, Jared Clanton, Devon Portelance, and Lt. Col. Joseph Dennis.  Interment will follow at Los Angeles Cemetery.  Services are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Bobby Bryant
Bobby Bryant, age 57, of Lubbock passed away December 8, 2007 at University Medical Center in Lubbock.  He was an oilfield roughneck.  He was born April 28, 1950 in Seminole, TX to Walter Lee Bryant and Nancy Etta (Brooks) Bryant..
He is survived by four sons - Michael, Jake, Lewis, and Richard Bryant, all of Paradise, TX; one brother - Billy Bryant of Odessa; five sisters - Helen Dodson of Abilene, TX; Claire Upchurch and Sue Hackney, both of Glenda, AR, Pauline Lynn of Eula, TX, and Reba Miller of Odessa; and several grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 8 am to 8 pm Thursday, December 13, 2007.  Services will be privately held at a later date.  Services are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Ozella Green

Ozella Green, age 77, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at her residence in Odessa.  She was born October 27, 1930 in Brownfield, TX to E.E. and Carrie Bell (Price) Proctor.  She married L.M. Green February 28, 1948.  He preceded her in death in 1992.  She was a retired nurse's aide with Nurse's Unlimited. 

In addition to her parents and husband, one daughter:  Linda Green, two grandchildren and one great-grandson preceded her in death. 

She is survived by four sons:  Larnce Wayne Green and Lonnie Green, both of Odessa; Larry Dale Green of Gale, TX and Lyle Garlon Green of Corpus Christi, TX; one daughter:  Louella Bryant of Odessa; two brothers:  Bill Proctor and Lee Proctor, both of Odessa; two sisters:  Carrie Mae Owens of Odessa and Flossy Nutt of Brownfield, TX; twenty grandchildren and forty-four great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday, December 17, 2007 at Acres West Funeral Chapel with Chaplain Jane Morin officiating.  Burial will be privately held at Los Angeles Cemetery.  Services are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Venetta Susan Jones Boland

Venetta Susan Jones Boland, age 54, of Odessa passed away Sunday, December 16, 2007 at St. Paul University Hospital in Dallas.  She was born Monday, November 16, 1953 in Iraan, TX to Roy and Venetta (Hankins) Jones.  She grew up in Mineola, TX.  She was a homemaker and was married for 22 years to Johnny Boland. 

Those left to cherish her love and memories include her sons- Curtis Boland and wife Vanessa and Randy Boland, all of Pampa, TX; daughter - Teena Johnson and husband Todd of Odessa; two brothers - Ricky Jones and wife Anna of Centerville, TX and David Jones of Odessa; and eight grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister:  Sharon Jones. 

Funeral services were 10 am Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Acres West Funeral Chapel with Pastor Marcos Zuniga officiating. Pallbearers were Terry Jones, Rickie Jones, John Hankins, Bryan Prentice, Josiah Wood, Bobby LaChance and Christopher Deeds.  Interment followed at Los Angeles Cemetery.  Arrangements were entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Raymond Fore

Raymond Fore, age 64, of Odessa passed from this life December 17, 2007 at Hospice House.  He was born December 22, 1942 in Prescott, AR to Jesse and Ludie (Roberts) Fore.  He was a grocery sacker at Albertson's. 

His is survived by his wife - Helen Fore of Odessa; two sons:  Kenneth Fore and Bryant Beavers, both of Odessa; two daughters - Michelle Smith of Odessa and Amy Galindo of Andrews; two brothers - J.C. Fore of Greenwood, AR and Girves Fore of Prescott, AR; two sisters - Lois Michaelson of Spring, TX and Lynn Scarborough of Houston; and eight grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Faith Community Baptist Church with Bro. Wayne Shelton officiating.  His grandchildren and friends will be pallbearers.  Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.  Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Darla Susann Morales

Darla Susann Morales, age 49 of Odessa, passed from this life December 17, 2007 at Medical Center Hospital.  She was born April 6, 1958 in Pauls Valley, OK to Darrel D. Davis and Coleen (Wheat) Davis. 

She was a homemaker, who made a loving home for nine children.  She was an awesome cook, who always made her meals from scratch.  She loved to dance to a little bit every type of music, from Jitterbugging to country music, rock and roll, and even rap.  She always had to keep up with what was going on in the world – don’t make her miss the evening news!  She was a loving daughter who before her mother’s death greatly enjoyed taking care of her.  It was an important family tradition for her to load up everyone at Christmas to look at all the lights. 

She leaves behind her husband:  Danny Morales of Odessa; five sons:  Chris Hubby, Darrel Leon Hubby, Collin William Ray Davis, Johnny Danial Morales and Danny David Morales, all of Odessa; three daughters:  Angelia Dawn Morales, Jennifer Ruth Morales and Amber Shiann Morales, all of Odessa; four brothers:  Darrel D. Davis of Healdton, OK, David S. Davis of Anna, TX, Rodger Endsley and Danny Endsley, both of Hobbs, NM; four sisters:  Deborah A. Basham of Anna, TX, Dawanna D. Roberts of Odessa, Danna A. Williams and Patricia Langner of Brownfield, TX; nine grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Services will be 3 pm Friday, December 21, 2007 at Faith Community Baptist Church with Brother Wayne Shelton officiating.  Pallbearers will be Collin Davis, Johnny Morales, Danny Morales Jr., Chris Hubby, David Davis, Darrel Davis, and Edgar Molina.  Honorary pallbearers will be Alex Marquez and Benjamin Marquez.  Interment will follow at Western Roses Memorial Park.  Services are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Alonso Soto

Alonso Soto, age 32, of Odessa passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at the Whitey Oilfield Lease in Wickett, TX.  He was born, Saturday, November 29, 1975 in Coyame, Mexico to Santiago and Estella (Corrales) Soto.  He was an oilfield worker. 

Alonso was a fun-loving man with a great sense of humor.  He loved to joke and hang out with friends and family.  He was very caring, dependable, and generous.  He was devoted to his family, especially his son.  He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. 

Those left to cherish his love and memories include his parents:  Santiago and Estella Soto of El Mangle, Mexico; his grandmother:  Emilia Andujo of El Mangle, Mexico, his loving wife:  Patricia Soto of Odessa; one son:  Alonso Soto, Jr. of Ojinaga, Ch, Mexico; one step-daughter:  Kayla Vasquez of Odessa; four brothers:  Santiago Soto, Jr., Paublo Soto and wife Graciela,  and Filemon Soto and wife Monzerrat,  all of Ojinaga, Mexico and Arnulfo Soto of El Mangle, Mexico; his nephews:  Paublo Soto, Jr. and Miguel Angel Soto (Paublo and Graciela’s children); and niece and nephews:  Daisy Soto, Santiago Soto, and David Soto (Filemon and Monzerrat’s children).  He will also be greatly missed by Patricia’s immediate and extended family, who loved him dearly.

Visitation in Odessa will be all day Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Acres West Funeral Chapel’s 24-hour Chapel.  Services will be in El Mangle, Mexico on Friday, December 21, 2007.  Services are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.
