Sandra Renee Lopez
Sandra Renee Lopez passed through the "Gates Of Heaven" @ 2:20 am, Thursday, May 25, 2006, at the age of 43. Mrs. Lopez fought a long and courageous battle, while on this earth. And will be sorely missed by Family and Friends.

Sandra was born to William and Patricia Ingram, in Sandis, MS. on March 30, 1963. In 1981, Sandra married Filberto Lopez. From that union, 3 children were born, two sons, Phillip and Daniel, and one daughter, Jennifer.

Mrs. Lopez will always be remembered as a devoted, daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her family and friends, her children and grandchildren were her life. She enjoyed flowers and nature. Her loving heart, generous spirit and kindness will always be cherished, forever.

Sandra was in retail sales for over 20 years, and has been a resident in Odessa for over 26 years.

Sandra leaves behind, her Husband, Filberto Lopez, three children, Daniel, Phillip and wife, Vanessa, and Jennifer Lopez, all from Odessa. Her grandchildren, Allysa, Phillip, Jr., Arianna & Kaly Lopez, Nathan Carrillo and also one grandchild on the way. Her parents, Bill & Patricia Ingram, of Seagoville, Texas, her grandparents, William Sr. and Patsy Ingram of Dallas, Texas, her Father-in-law, Marcos Lopez of Odessa. Also left behind are, two brothers, Dewayne and his wife, Evelyn, of Rowlett, Texas, Randy and his wife, Pat of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Joyce Evans and her husband Bud, of Odessa, Beverly Bryant and her husband Jessie, of Seagoville, Texas. Sandra also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

When I must leave you for a little while, Please do not grieve and shed wild tears, and hug your sorrow to you through the years.  But.....  start out bravely with a gallant smile; and for

my sake and in my name, live on and do all things the same, Feed not your loneliness, on empty days, but fill each waking hour in useful ways, reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer, and I in turn will comfort you and hold you near; and never be afraid to die, for I am waiting for you in the sky.

The family would like to thank everyone for their kind words and friendly gestures throughout this difficult time. Your prayers and friendship will always be appreciated and remembered.

Services for Sandra Lopez will be Saturday, May 27th @ 10:00, with Raul Puente officiatiing. Pallbearers will be Jeraco Pando, J D Fabela, Michael Ingram, Robert Bustamante, Mark Rodriguez, Quayde Ingram and Luis Pando.

Doris “Delphi” Mauldin

Doris Mauldin, age 57, of Odessa, passed away at her residence on Monday, May 29, 2006.  She was born in Fort Worth, TX on Wednesday, February 23, 1949 to the late Richard Dean and Delores Elaine (Franssen) Mauldin. She was a homemaker who had made Odessa her home for the past 35 years, moving here from California.

She is survived by her son:  Keith Towers of Odessa, Texas; one brother:  Richard David Mauldin and wife, Kathy of Odessa; one sister:  Darla Sanders and husband, Don of Odessa; two grandchildren:  Sara Marie Broussard and Alex Glasscock, and eight special nieces and nephews:  Michell Blackwell, Amy Blackwell, Kelly Blackwell, Robert G. Schorovsky, Robert D. Schorovsky, Ricky Schorovsky, Sandra Schorovsky and Schara Schorovsky.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at the Acres West Funeral Chapel, 8115 W. University Blvd. at 2:00 pm.  Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Bobbie Ruth Wade

Bobbie Ruth Wade, age 76, went home to be with her Heavenly Father at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas on Sunday, May 28, 2006.

She was born on Tuesday, May 27, 1930 in Paris, Texas to Toby and Roberta (Smith) Ellis.  She was a homemaker who loved her family immensely.  She cooked for them and fussed over them, all the while keeping a tight rope on her kids and grandchildren.  Bobbie loved music and dancing.  She enjoyed the outdoors, as well as time inside watching church on television.  She would sometimes take a break to have a soda pop or to watch some wrestling.

Bobbie is survived by her son, Lawrence Ellis of Odessa,  her daughters, Vera Mosley of Odessa and Joyce Lowe of Huntsville, TX, her brother, Alice Cole of Fort Worth, TX and sister, Rosie Woods of Midland, TX.  She was blest with many grandchildren:  Bonnie Mosley, Clarence Mosley, Alvin Mosley, Christina Ellis, Cornell Pryor, Al-Vera Ellis, Christopher Ellis, Anthony Williams, T.J. Williams, Marquet Foster, Andre Foster and Jerry Foster; and great-grandchildren:  Nicholas Sims, Chevera Richardson, Christian Jeff, La Trisha Sims, Christopher Sims, Alex Lopez, C’Voccion Dalton, Anthony Cleaver, Zephaniah Cleaver, Sha’niya Mosley and Teosha Williams.  She also leaves behind long-time friends, Mrs. Dorothy Stroud and Quentin and Patricia Kelley.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, Barbara Wade who passed away October 28, 1977, her brother, John D. Hershey and her good friend, Cora Lee Jones in 1981.

Funeral services in Bobbie’s memory will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, June 2, 2006 at Acres West Funeral Chapel, 8115 W. University in Odessa, Texas with Rev. John Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery.  Pallbearers include: Calvin Richardson, Christopher Ellis, Lawrence Mosley, Anthony Williams, Cornell Pryor, Marquet Foster, Andre Foster, and A.J. Montez.  Honorary pallbearers are Nelson Moore and Roger Davis. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Rhonda Rebecca Graham

Rhonda Rebecca Graham, age 51, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at Hospice House of Odessa. She was born July 3, 1954 in Odessa to Loy Hugh and Pauline “Polly” (Murray) Mead. She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Jason Kelly Hill. Rhonda married Steve Graham on December 20, 1970 in Whitharral, Texas. She attended Odessa High School and worked at Medical Center Hospital (2 West) and for Dr. Cepero for many years.

She is survived by Stephen Graham, her loving husband of 35 years, daughters, Stephanie Graham and April Wheeler and husband, Jim, one granddaughter, Jordyn Rebecca Graham all of Odessa, sisters Suzanne Smith and husband Charlie of Odesssa, Johnnie Reed and husband, Dean of Gardendale and Jimmie Benton of Clyde, Texas, brothers, Audie Mead and wife, Evelyn and Rocky Mead all of Odessa and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Rhonda loved taking care of her family, working in her yard, cooking and baking. But what she loved probably more than these was being a grandmother to Jordyn, her “Angel”. Jordyn will miss her MeMe. We will miss our Rhonda. We will mourn her passing, celebrate her life and cherish her memories until we meet again.

Visitation will begin at 8 am, Friday, June 9, 2006 at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 am, Monday, June 12, 2006 at West Odessa First Baptist Church with Doctor Jimmy Braswell officiating, assisted by Johnny Graham. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel of Odessa. Pallbearers will be Jim Wheeler, Chris Reed, Dean Reed, Charlie Smith, Chad Mead and Joey White.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice House, 903 North Sam Houston Ave., Odessa, Texas 79761. Our families would like to express deepest appreciation to the staff of Hospice House of Odessa.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing. 2 Timothy 4:7-8.

Adrian Ramirez Garza, “Pa Man”

Adrian Ramirez Garza, “Pa Man”, age 22, of Odessa, died Sunday, June 18, 2006, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. He was born Tuesday, April 17, 1984 to Santos C. and Erlinda R. (Ramirez) Garza, Jr.

Adrian enjoyed partying, gambling and rooster fighting.  He loved hanging out with his friends and was always considerate of others. He was employed at M & N Metals as a forklift operator.

Those left behind to cherish his love and memories are his parents, one brother, Anthony R Garza and his Paternal grandmother, Cecilia C. Garza all of Odessa. He also leaves behind fifteen Aunts and Uncles and dozens and dozens of cousins and friends.

Rosary is scheduled for 7 pm, Thursday, June 22, 2006 at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10 am, Friday, June 23, 2006 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Father Joey Faylona as celebrant. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery. After the services, a fellowship family gathering will be held at St Anthony’s Parish Hall. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel of Odessa.

Yvonne B. Mueller

Yvonne B. Mueller, born in Thermopolis, Hot Springs County, Wyoming to Adabelle and Nash DeWeese on December 06, 1922, went to be with her Lord on June 23, 2006.

Yvonne lived a full life and had a heart of gold. She had many professions: nurse, mother, doll maker and flower designer. There wasn’t one person in Wyoming that didn’t call her grandma. She thought she could take care of the world.

Even though Yvonne spent most of her life in Wyoming, she was always up to a new challenge. So, at age 80, she came to conquer Texas, and she did for almost 3 years.

Those left behind to cherish her love and memories are two sons, Ben Coleman and Henery Mandera both of Slocomb, Alabama; two daughters, Ada Belle Allemeesch of Odessa, Texas and Betty Ann Riger of Riverton, Wyoming. Six grandchildren Barbette Hernandez, Mellody Icenogle, Mistie Kaiser, Ammie Riggs, Charles Coleman and Crystal Carnley; ten great grandchildren, Ashlea Carnley, Forrest Carnley, Jaden Riggs, Toby Smith, Tyler Smith, Travis Smith, Andrew Patceg, Christina Patceg, Aaron Thomas and Blaine Decker and one great-great grandchild, Taylor Mae of Casper, Wyoming.

We love you, Gram. You can go now to your mom and God. They need you just like we did, and will when we go to Heaven. You will be so missed by your family and friends, and we look forward to seeing you again

Ray Western Gaddis

Ray Western Gaddis, age 51, of Odessa, passed away Monday, June 26, 2006. He was born Monday, February 28, 1955 in Kermit, Winkler County, Texas to G. T. and Laqueta (Bowden) Gaddis. Ray worked in building construction.

Those left to cherish his love and memories are one son, Jeremy Gaddis, two grandchildren, Jordan Gaddis and Jaden Gaddis and his father, G. T. Gaddis all of Odessa.

Ray was preceded in death by his mother.

Memorial services are scheduled for 10 am, Friday, June 30, 2006 at Acres West Funeral Chapel with Pastor Randy Demetro officiating.

H. B. "Lefty" Smith

H. B. "Lefty" Smith passed away to be with our Lord on July 5, 2006 at his home. He lived a 74 good years. He attended First Southern Baptist Church in Gardendale.

Lefty was born in Memphis, Texas to Henry and Elvada Smith on May 13, 1932, where he grew up as a cotton farmer's son. He left home at 14 years of age to work cattle on the L7 Ranch for 5 years. On January 12, 1952, Lefty married his sweetheart, Doris Beckwith and had a wonderful 39 years together until Doris left for Heaven on November 29, 1991 to make things ready for him.

Lefty served his country in the US Army from 1952 - 54, after which he came to Odessa and went to work for H. E. Abbott and learned the metal building trade. In 1965 Lefty, along with partners, Bill Mitchell and E. C. Eddins formed B & L Steel, later renamed to Cee Bee Builders, where he built many star buildings in West Texas, New Mexico, Idaho, Oregon and Utah. In 1970, Lefty formed S & S Steel, where he built many people's hopes, plans and dreams in the form of metal buildings until his death. He worked his whole life.

Lefty's passion in younger years was oval track racing, where he competed in all classes of race cars against the best drivers that Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma had to offer.

Those left behind to cherish his love and memories are two sons, Bobby Smith and wife, Jana of Gardendale and Ricky Smith and companion, Sonya Stevens of Odessa; four brothers Wayne Smith and wife, Aline of Cross Plains, Texas, James Smith and wife, Avis of Springlake, Texas, Bob Smith of Seminole, Texas and Ed Moore and wife, Betty of Midland, Texas; one sister, Jackie Gerisch and husband, Dorman of Hurst, Texas; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Lefty was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Smith, two sisters, Willie May Giest and Bernice Carol and one brother, Rufus Smith.

Services are scheduled for 2 pm, Friday, July 7, 2006 at Acres West Funeral Chapel with Brother Terry Easly officiating. Private interment will follow at a later date at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Porfirio Z. Levario
Porfirio Z. Levario, age 74, died Friday July 07, 2006 at his residence in Odessa. He was a farmer.  He was born September 15, 1931 in Chihuahua, Mexico.

He is survived by his wife, Nieves Juarez Levario of Presidio, TX, two sons, Porfirio J. Levario, Jr. of Presidio and Homero J. Levario of Le High, FL; one daughter, Guadalupe L. Chapa of Chihuahua, Mexico; two sisters, Maria Luisa Villalobos of Los Angeles, CA and Elfida Ramirez of Chihuahua, Mexico; ten grandchildren, Revqua Levario, Rachel Dominguez, Homer Levario, Jr., Sergio Chapa, Daniel Levario, Mayra Levario, Eddie Levario, Brian Levario, Stephanie Levario, Edward Levario and seven great grandchildren, Ezeckiel, Hector, Claudia, Giselle, Ydaris, Azmareth and Ruby.

Services are to be held Tuesday, July 11, 2006 in Cuchillo Parado, Mexico. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel of Odessa.

Josefina Aguirre Carrasco

Josefina Aguirre Carrasco, age 60, of Odessa, passed away Friday, July 7, 2006, at her residence. She was the daughter of Samuel and Andrea (Ponce) Aguirre, born Tuesday March 19, 1946 in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Josefina was a homemaker, who was a wonderful cook and enjoyed gardening.  She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a devout Catholic and a member of the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.

Those left behind to cherish her love and memories are her husband Martin Carrasco of Odessa; her parents, Samuel and Andrea Aguirre of Odessa; four daughters, Rosario Carrasco of Alton, IL, Rosalba Carrasco of Lubbock, Juanita Carrasco and Minerva Younke both of Odessa; two sons, Rodolfo Carrasco of Odessa and Martin Carrasco, III of South Bend, Ind.; six sisters,  Edelmira Aguirre, Ema Muniz, Sylvia Cano and  Martha Aguirre all of Odessa, Lucina Aguirre of Oaxaca, Mexico and Yolanda Saenz of Holland, MI; five brothers:  Samuel Aguirre, Jr. of Monahans, Jesus Octavio Aguirre of Fort Stockton, Javier Aguirre of Pampa, Rigoberto Aguirre and Omar Aguirre both of Odessa and five grandchildren.

Rosary was held at 7:30 pm Monday, July 10, 2006 at Acres West Funeral Chapel.  Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery.  Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.
